Fees and money flow
1 min readAll pages
Every number here is public, and the same for every game.
Opening auction
| Part | Goes to |
|---|---|
| 95% of the auction money | Backs the game's market pool, in USD, so the market has real money behind it from the first minute |
| 5% | Auction fee to JustBet |
If the auction misses its minimum raise ($100 matched in total at or above the floor price), 100% is refunded and no fee is taken.
Trading units: 1% per trade
Units trade in USD, so the fee is collected in USD.
| Share of the 1% | Goes to |
|---|---|
| 50% | Set aside to buy back and burn WINR |
| 20% | Unit holders of that game, converted to WINR and paid weekly |
| 20% | Set aside to buy back WINR for the market float |
| 10% | The game's creator, in USD |
On JustBet Originals there is no creator share: that 10% is set aside for the buyback too.
Example: a $1,000 trade pays a $10 fee. $5 goes to buying back and burning WINR, $2 to holders, $2 to the float's buyback and $1 to the creator. The USD set aside for the buyback is shown on the burn pool page until it is spent.
Shares
- WINR spent buying Bought shares is burned.
- An upgrade costs half the auction's floor price per unit, per share. That WINR is burned. It has a fee because an upgrade takes a unit that would otherwise be sold in the opening auction.
- Choosing Keep or Convert costs nothing.
The house's part
- The house pays 5% of each graduated game's revenue to that game's units, every week.
- JustBet's system accounts (fees, burn, treasury, buyback) never bid or trade. Staff and admin accounts play by the same rules as everyone.
